Naar drie kwart duurzame koffie in 2015

November 9, 2010 - In aanwezigheid van overheid en maatschappelijke organisaties stemden de leden van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Vereniging voor Koffie en Thee (KNVKT) vandaag formeel in met de plannen voor het verder verduurzamen van de Nederlandse koffiemarkt. Daarbij sprak de KNVKT de ambitie uit om het aandeel duurzaam geproduceerde koffie op de Nederlandse markt te vergroten van één kwart naar drie kwart in 2015.

Nestlé launches the Nescafé Plan

August 27, 2010 - Nestlé today launched the Nescafé Plan in Mexico City, bringing under one umbrella Nestlé’s commitments on coffee farming, production and consumption. The Nescafé Plan contains a set of objectives which will help Nestlé further optimize its coffee supply chain.

Armajaro Trading to Extend Higher Cocoa Price Plan to Coffee

September 7, 2009 - Armajaro Trading, which introduced a “voluntary premium” on the price it charges buyers of its cocoa to help increase output, will extend the plan to coffee, said Nicko Debenham, director for traceability and sustainability.
